Upon completion of this course, the learner should be able to: understand the history and its founders of Manual Lymph Drainage, verbalize understanding of superficial lymphatic structures and their functions, discuss 3 primary reasons for lymphatic edemas, understand 7 contraindications of MLD, discuss the difference between medical grade compression garments and non-medical grade compression garments, be able to demonstrate 3 assessment techniques, and be able perform 5 basic lymphosize exercises.
