Course overview

Most deliveries in the field occur without complications, but on occasion, problems develop. With our Obstetrical Emergencies app, you will learn how to assess for and treat breech births, prolapsed cords, limp presentations, and if meconium is present. Also, learn what to do when expecting a preterm baby and multiple babies. Not all emergencies directly affect the child. Using fully animated 3D graphics, this app also covers excessive bleeding of the mother, trauma in pregnancy, and eclampsia. The interactive exercises are designed to reinforce these and other key concepts.
