The goal of this presentation is to discuss health literacy and strategies to help increase patient and client understanding of issues around prescription opioid use. Upon completion of the webinar, learners will be able to: Define health literacy Discuss background issues of health literacy Identify the importance of the interprofessional healthcare team for addressing health disparities and improving healthcare comprehension Describe concerns related to health literacy and opioid use
