Course overview

The Weight Management course is designed to give an introduction to canine weight management, the issues caused by poor weight management and strategies for dealing with dogs who may be overweight. An understanding of weight management for dogs, identifying weight management issues particular to the individual pet and the scale of those issues, finding strategies for dealing with overweight and general health and nutrition advice. This course will give you the confidence to engage with owners of pets with weight management issues and give you strategies to help address the weight management issues to improve the health of the pet.
