Key quality related features and components 3. Key isotope related features and components 4. Current and potential isotope pairs for use with the system 5. Understand why amino acids were targeted and developed for tumor imaging 6. Learn about the discovery of fluciclovine at Emory University, including the different synthesis platforms used during development 7. The Emory University roadmap to the current FDA approved clinical indication will be discussed 8. Understand the current reactors irradiating targets for Mo-99 production. 9. Understand who the global Mo-99 producers are. 10. Explain the process of conversion from HEU to LEU-produced Mo-99. 11. Understand the alternate Mo-99 production technologies under development. NOTE: An annual subscription for Purdue's nuclear pharmacy re-certification program provides access to both the continuing education component of the program and the "Radiopharmacy Portal" a reference resource for practitioners. Subscriptions to the continuing educational offerings, which have been accredited through ACPE and BPS, can be purchased for an annual fee of $195 for nuclear pharmacists and $95 for nuclear pharmacy technicians.
