This session is designed for physical therapy professionals and ATs who wish to deepen their knowledge of the pregnant and postpartum athlete. Attendees learn maternal and fetal physiology as well as the indications, contraindications, and precautions for all types of exercise in the female athlete population.This course is directly related to the practice of physical therapy and athletic training and therefore appropriate for the PT/PTA and AT.
