MT-ST: Stabilization Training & Functional Rehabilitation Seminar (Home Study)

Course overview

This course incorporates the latest Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) from worldwide sources. Participants evaluate the underlying quality of each major study and the corresponding philosophies of spinal stabilization. Instructor leads participants through a critical evaluation of different theories to determine how best to incorporate the information and apply graduated, specific, and effective muscle retraining into real patient situations. Extensive laboratory sessions practice graduated stabilization approaches, including Cervical and Lumbar Spine, Shoulder, Knee and Ankle injuries, as well as post-surgical conditions and specific diagnoses. Intervention is based upon EBM, physiology and current concepts in functional rehabilitation. May be taken at any time as a stand alone course. Includes required Home Study course component of approximately 7.7 hours. MUST BE TAKEN IN CONJUNCTION WITH MT-ST: STABILIZATION TRAINING AND FUNCTIONING REHABILITATION SEMINAR (LIVE)
