Course overview

This course provides 50 hours of comprehensive wound care education. Extensive on-line pre-course work covers all types of wounds: Venous Leg Ulcers, Arterial Ulcers, Pressure Ulcers, Neuropathic Foot Ulcers, Atypical Ulcers, Burns, Moisture Associated Skin Damage, and more. Scope of training includes wound etiology, differential diagnosis, assessment, debridement, dressings, modalities, cellular and tissue-based products, and many other topics. Intensive, hands-on training enables practical application of wound care skills, bandaging and compression garments, conservative sharp debridement, maggot debridement, skin care, moisture management, and other aspects of wound care tailored for Venous Leg Ulcers, Lymphedema, and Phlebolymphedema.
