Course overview
The purpose of this two-hour course is to provide information to healthcare providers about the modes of transmission, diagnosis, clinical management, infection control procedures, and prevention of A.I.D.S. The course addresses pre and post-test counseling, the use of personal protective equipment, and legal and ethical issues surrounding this disease. A background overview regarding the history, trends and national statistics will be reviewed.
