Course overview

This course is for nurses, doulas and other providers who want to learn more about the number one complication of childbirth. It includes a video overview of mood disorders and resources (including assessment tools) for your further learning and for your patients and clients. There is an activity for you to do that reinforces the material presented. You will learn about the many variables that affect adjustment to life with a newborn, as well as gain a much better understanding about who is affected, and how we are doing in the United States with screening, support and treatment.
