Recognizing and Reporting Resident Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation

Course overview

Florida laws states that no resident/patient of a facility shall be deprived of any civil or legal rights, benefits or privileges guaranteed by the law, the Constitution of the State of Florida, or the Constitution of the United States as an resident/patient of a facility. Every individual of a facility shall have the right to live in a safe and decent living environment, free from abuse, neglect and exploitation. This course meets the guidelines for Assisted Living Facility and Adult Family Home Care.
