Course overview

Learner Objectives: As a result of having attended the meeting, the participants should have had the opportunity to: 1. Diving literature review: review some of the most notable journal articles in the past 1-2 years; 2. Discuss recent articles regarding the clinical use of hyperbaric oxygen, including the use of HBO2 for EPO modulation to improve homing and engraftment after umbilical cord blood transplantation, and use of HBO2 for femoral head necrosis patients. Subject Matter: New Pearls of Wisdom in the Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine Literature 2017; Teaching Methods: • Online video of speakers lecture with PPT slides embedded; Exam questions for the lecture; Evaluation of program. Evaluation Methods: Evaluation is offered online after completion of the activity, which evaluates the effectiveness of the meeting, that no bias was presented, individual faculty and overall objectives were met.
