Course overview

If you or someone you know uses an epinephrine auto-injector, commonly referred to as an EpiPen, you should be well-versed in how to use it in case of an emergency. This course will teach you how to use common brands of epinephrine auto-injectors, and help prepare you in the face of a severe allergic reaction. By the end of this course, you should be able to: -Define what an epinephrine auto-injector is and what it’s used for -Understand the symptoms of anaphylaxis -Safely administer epinephrine to someone suffering from anaphylaxis
