Course overview
Reviewing and updating knowledge of immunohematology is essential to ensure quality care of patients. If a patient receives the incorrect match of donor cells in a transfusion, it may cause a severe or fatal reaction. The goal of this course is to provide laboratory personnel with the ability to recognize and define the ABO blood groups, and to describe the testing involved in their identification.
