Course overview
Human trafficking, is a global health concern. Beyond failing to extend the basic principles of common human decency to others, human traffickers precipitate a myriad of negative health consequences for their victims including physiological, psychological and emotional problems. Healthcare professionals need to be able to assess patients for signs of human trafficking, employ available resources, and implement appropriate interventions. This course satisfies the requirement for continuing education under Fla. Stat. 464.013 and s. 787.07 F.S.
