INJECTION SKILLS 4 Hr (Class) This course will be provided through classroom lecture, video skills presentation and hands on training in Injection techniques. The course includes preparing injections from a vial, preparing injections from ampule, Insulin Preparation and administration, Drawing up and mixing more than one type of insulin for administration. Review of guidelines for the delivery and safe management of intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal and z- track injections. This course will provide the healthcare workers with an understanding of various aspects of injection administration, how to locate the appropriate sites for administration, information about the different needle gauge /size, appropriate needle disposal, infection control standards and the scope of practice. This is a great opportunity for LPNs and RN who need to refresh or for new grads who are eager to learn more. This course is approved for all Nurses: LPN, RN, ARNP, Graduate Nurses, Medical Assistants.
