Course overview
This course provides healthcare professionals with an in depth understanding of Alzheimers disease and evidence based strategies for providing compassionate person centered care. Participants will explore disease progression, cognitive and behavioral changes communication techniques safety considerations and caregiver support. Emphasis is placed on preserving dignity, promoting quality of life, and supporting both individuals living with Alzheimers disease and their caregivers across all stages of the illness.
