Course overview

This course provides healthcare professionals with a comprehensive overview of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), a mental health condition that can develop after exposure to a traumatic event. Participants will explore the epidemiology, neurobiology, diagnostic criteria, clinical manifestations, and evidence-based treatment approaches for PTSD. Emphasis is placed on early recognition, assessment, and interdisciplinary management to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
