Course overview

Nurses who are involved in the health care of perimenopausal women need to stay current in the treatment of the problematic side effects of menopause, lifestyle modifications that might be necessary throughout the stages of menopause, and patient education that can help improve a womans overall quality of life. The purpose of this course is to help the nurse take an individual approach to assisting women who are progressing through menopause and provide nursing care based on the most up-to-date standards and guidelines in order to help women make appropriate lifestyle choices.
