Culture First Leadership

Course overview

This workshop will help participants develop practical skills for conversations about race, culture and oppression. We will discuss how to integrate the influence of culture on symptom identification and expression to ensure that both the assessment and treatment, incorporates culturally reflective interventions. Finally, we will identify best practices for supervision to provide social workers with access to a learning environment which creates opportunities to exchange information towards transformational learning.
