Course overview
Prepare healthcare providers to identify and appropriately report victims of human trafficking. ATs, OTs and PTs will benefit from this course when completing the review of systems during the initial evaluation of a client that may be a victim of human trafficking. Through this course, clinicians will be able to identify and apply indicators of human trafficking and understand the procedures utilized when identifying and sharing information of victims of trafficking. The therapist will gain an understanding of and how to incorporate the inter-professional POC into the patient's rehabilitation plan of care. OTAs and PTAs will benefit from this course by understanding components of the initial evaluation and review of systems, as related to victims of human trafficking and the plan of care determined by the therapist. The assistant will gain an understanding of patient education as well as an understanding of the inter-professional plan of care.
