Prevention of Medical Errors

Course overview

In this class the participants will learn that It is important for all nurses to become familiar with various strategies to prevent or reduce the likelihood of medication errors. Students will learn the most important way you can help prevent errors is to be an active member of your health care team. Participants will also learn what it means taking part in each decision about your health. Research shows that patients who are more involved with their care tend to get better results.
