Mentorship Program: Foundational Acupuncture in Pregnancy, Birth and Postpartum Care

Course overview

An online program for acupuncturists whose scope of practice includes treating in pregnancy, but who do not yet feel confident doing so. In this ten-month program Debra and Claudia take practitioners step-by-step through diagnosis and planning suitable treatment options - no matter what their acupuncture treatment style. Each month a pre-recorded lecture is available on a specific topic as below, with participants completing a worksheet structured around this topic. There will be an emphasis on safe professional practice, pregnancy physiology, understanding red flags and when to refer, the latest research and developing treatment plans for the realities of clinical practice. Case histories and treatment plans from Debra and Claudia's clinical practice will be examined as well as opportunities for specific feedback on participants clinical cases.
