Medical Errors Prevention in Mental Health

Course overview

This course was developed to provide a foundation for a better understanding of what medical errors are, where they most frequently occur, how to address  them using processes such as the root cause analysis and how to avoid them through error reduction and prevention techniques. Improvement approaches, analysis tools, reporting processes, and risk management issues for inpatient and residential programs will be discussed.
