After this course, you will be able to: Understand the different types of Diabetes and how the disease affects the body. Identify signs and symptoms of hypoglycemia & hyperglycemia and aspects of emergency treatment plans. Identify elements of a proper nutrition plan for the patient with diabetes.. Understand the importance of and be able to verbalize methods to prevent and treat diabetic foot ulcers.
