Course overview

This training demonstrates a large paradigm shift and allows clinicians to view the treatment of SUDs through a gradualist lens. This training discusses how to integrate research and evidence based interventions into settings that are substance free and typically do not fit into the harm reduction model perfectly. Clinicians will gain an understanding of gradualist values and learn how to integrate those values into clinical skills to assist SUD clients in gaining a higher level of functioning. This is also appropriate for supervisors and administrators to assist in program development.
