QUALIFIED SUPERVISOR TRAINING

Course overview

This LIVE ONLINE course meets the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling requirement to become a Qualified Supervisor through 12 clock hours of didactic and interactional instruction which must be provided live and delivered in a manner and in such a way that monitors attendance, minimizes distractions, and allows for real-time interaction between the instructor and the attendee. This training will be facilitated using a combination of experiential, didactic, and interactive approaches. Participants will learn about the various roles and responsibilities of being a clinical supervisor, ethical and legal imperatives pertaining to supervision, multicultural and pluralistic dynamics within clinical supervision, and the administrative process including contractual agreements and documentation. Course will be delivered via ZOOM. Participants will be expected to have their video on for the duration of the course to be in compliance with attendance monitoring. We also have a LIVE IN PERSON offering which will take place at our office in Fort Myers, Florida, which is limited to 15 people. The fees are slightly higher, as you will receive printed copies of materials, engage in experiential activities, and we will have light refreshments available throughout.
