The Home Exercise Program (HEP) is becoming increasingly important to the success of a rehab patient in all settings. Visit caps, cost deterrents, access, and even time management barriers continue to surge in all rehab settings. "Homework" in the form of the HEP exercises has grown from just an ancillary tool to a critical pillar of successful outcome. While the knowledge of the therapist is not in question with the exercise selection in these programs, most practitioners do not have adequate training in educational design and instruction to develop the best home program possible. Research on optimum instruction is actually contrary to many programs provided. This multimedia course provides the learner with a greater understanding of best practices to enhance the compliance and design for their HEP.
