Discuss vaccine-specific indications and contraindications for pregnant women, men who have sex with men, and patients with an egg allergy. Pharmacy Technicians: 1.List the vaccines that are recommended for younger, middle-aged, and older adults. Recognize brand names of the vaccines. 2.Discuss the factors that are taken into consideration when determining the appropriateness of vaccinations.Recognize the required number of doses for routine adult vaccines and the time period that must separate each dose (if any). 2.Discuss the recommended vaccine schedule for a healthy young adult versus older individuals, those with chronic medical conditions, and pregnant women.
