Assessment of Parenting Skills

Course overview

This four (4) hour training is designed to aid professionals in understanding concepts related to assessment tools and interviewing techniques to determine parenting abilities within the context of general psychological evaluations. The focus of the training will be on Mid-Ohio Psychological Services, Inc.'s assessment procedures and tools. Through the use of instruction, practical activities, and collaborative discussion, participants will gain an understanding of current methods including Parenting Questionnaire, Parent-Child Observation, and other parenting assessments. Additionally participants will gain knowledge of other parenting methods not being utilized at the agency.
