Firearms and Bid Assisting

Course overview

This part of the session on firearms will review and discuss licenses required to sell firearms at auction, discuss penalties and laws for selling firearms for estates and for consignment auctions as well as how the Federal Firearms Law relates to antique firearms. Class discussions and cases of past situations where the law was not followed will be covered. Bid Assistant Training is part of this seminar where participants have the opportunity to investigate the skills of a bid assistant and their function at the auction working with the auctioneer and bidders.
