Discuss the various limitations that have developed when using reactor based Mo-99 production 2. Review the historical patterns and issues that have contributed to previous Mo-99 shortages 3. Identify regulatory and governmental steps that have been implemented to attempt to stabilize Mo-99 availability NOTE: An annual subscription for Purdue's nuclear pharmacy re-certification program provides access to both the continuing education component of the program and the "Radiopharmacy Portal" a reference resource for practitioners. Subscriptions to the continuing educational offerings, which have been accredited through ACPE and BPS, can be purchased for an annual fee of $195 for nuclear pharmacists and $95 for nuclear pharmacy technicians.
