Course overview

In this presentation, Dr. Toll will review the harms associated with tobacco use, including prevalence of cancer in the US and cancer-causing agents in tobacco smoke. He will then review several research studies regarding treatment of tobacco use among both general and co-morbid populations. There will be a brief overview of e-cigarettes. Dr. Toll will review the extant tobacco clinical practice guidelines and best practices for smoking cessation treatment for patients in the US. March 10, 2021 from 11am-12pm
