This 2 hour ONLINE experiential course will give a brief introduction on the role of art as a theoretically grounded intervention in clinical treatment. Participants will receive a very brief overview of the field of art therapy and be able to differentiate between the the use of an arts based intervention in a therapy session and "art therapy". Participants will engage in two arts-based interventions appropriate for use with varied clinical populations. We will discuss how it can be adapted for different settings and clinical populations.
