Should Children Eat Organic?
Tracking # 20-733976
Course overview
Many dietitians are aware that "organic" foods have some benefits to consumers but don't know what this categorization really means. Consumers, on the other hand, tend to believe that all organic foods are healthier and that conventionally grown foods can pose a health risk, especially in relation to neurological problems in infants and children. What is the truth? What are the risks and benefits of organic foods and conventionally grown foods? To answer the question of whether organic foods are necessary for a healthy diet, dietitians need to be up to date on the evidence regarding organic foods in the diet of children.
