Course overview

This two-hour self-directed video course will address various types of human trafficking, various ways that an individual can be trafficked, general data on human trafficking, trauma, the internets role in facilitating human trafficking, the effects of complex-trauma on the brain and how health care professionals can make an impact on victims of human trafficking. This course will meet the requirements outlined in both 464.013, F.S. for content criteria and the F.A.C. 64B9-5.002 for continuing education for nursing license renewal, established after January 1, 2019, and required each biennium thereafter on the topic of Human Trafficking.
