Describe and compare direct and indirect production methods of Lutetium-177 and list advantages and disadvantages of both production methods. 2. Discuss regulation and safety considerations of isotope production 3. Explain the cyclotron production process for Gallium-68. 4. Summarize the advantages and disadvantages of using a cyclotron for the production of Gallium-68. 5. Compare the quality control testing of cyclotron-produced Gallium-68 to generator-produced Gallium-68. NOTE: An annual subscription for Purdue's nuclear pharmacy re-certification program provides access to both the continuing education component of the program and the "Radiopharmacy Portal" a reference resource for practitioners. Subscriptions to the continuing educational offerings, which have been accredited through ACPE and BPS, can be purchased for an annual fee of $195 for nuclear pharmacists and $95 for nuclear pharmacy technicians.
