Course overview

This video-rich 3 hr. course, required for 491 Board licensees every 3rd biennium, informs and reviews recent changes to F. S. CH 456, F.S. CH 491, and F.A.C. (Rule) 64B4. Participants will establish and maintain knowledge of laws and rules regulating practitioners under the Department of Health, the Florida Administrative Code, and 491 Board. To enhance professional practice proficiencies, changes come alive through a case study role play via telehealth delivery methods, case discussions with learning tools, and hands-on learning methods to conduct basic updates to the Florida Statutes and the Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C., 64B4) with online examples. Additional resources (documents, tables, and bibliography) are also included.
