Family Systems Therapy for Children

Course overview

This course presents an overview of the family and family systems of therapy. The course looks at the life cycle of the family. There is a review of types of family therapy including Experiential, Gestalt, Strategic, Systemic, Structural, Behavioral and Cognitive-Behavioral, and Functional Family Therapies. A section of the course focuses on special circumstances including domestic violence, blended families, and cultural differences.
