Course overview

The purpose of this course is to provide clinicians a framework for practice that includes evidence-based standards of care and individual clinician decision making and tailoring of interventions to meet specific patient needs. The framework includes thinking beyond a single episode of care, determining a prognosis, and how to consider personal and environmental factors when developing specific plans of care. Case examples will be used to illustrate key concepts.
