Course overview

Race-based stress and trauma have always existed in our practices, but do we know how to identify it and truly address it? Whether or not you've felt the traumatic wounds of racism or experienced race-based stressors firsthand, this recording will help you learn how to embrace an antiracism stance in your practice that will help clients find safety and healing in your work together. Dr. Williams is a renowned researcher on race-based trauma and mental health disparities, along with researching psychedelic-assisted therapies for people of color. In this special and inspiring recording, she'll go in depth on how the effects of racism show up in your office, and effective ways you can be the change starting with one client at a time.
