RRMC 2019 CANCER CARE MANAGEMENT TEAM MEETINGS/QUARTERLY CANCER COMMITTEE

Course overview

The RRMC Cancer Committee meets quarterly as required by the RRMC Medical Staff Bylaws and the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. This meeting's function is a multidisciplinary cancer care team management approach involving health professionals which must include Physicians i.e., gastroenterologists, pulmonary medicine, cardiothoracic surgeons, general surgeons, ENT physicians, radiation oncology physicians, pathology physicians, radiology physicians, family practice physicians, internal medicine physicians and palliative care physicians. Allied Health professionals are required as follows nursing, both RN and OCN, Clinical Dieticians, Physical Therapists, Certified Tumor Registrar, pastoral services, social worker (MSW or OMSW), and all others allied health professionals as set out in meeting agenda based on meeting topic and needs assessments. This Live series activity, Cancer Care Management Team/Cancer Committee on 03/26/2019 - 12/17/2019, has been reviewed and is acceptable for credit by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Attendees should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 2 hours of Category one credit is approved.
