Course overview

The power of healthy touch is needed more today than ever. This workshop will help the massage professional gain an understanding of what Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is; as well as what can be done to help. We will explore what our role is, as well as our scope, in the healing process. We will discuss various triggers and attain a deeper understanding of how this condition affects the body. Lecture will cover some fundamentals in Anatomy & Physiology, and will correspond with the hands-on techniques. All of the techniques and concepts will be explored and practiced. We will provide the therapists time to grow in their confidence through hands-on time and focused instructor attention.
