Define the purpose of nutrition screening and outline the variables included in nutrition screening tools. 2. Select a validated nutrition screening tool 3. Outline specific indications for enteral and parenteral nutrition support. 4. Determine patient indications for nutrition support via case application NOTE: An annual subscription for Purdue's nutrition support pharmacy re-certification program provides access to both the continuing education component of the program and the "Professional Resources" for practitioners. Subscriptions to the continuing educational offerings, which have been accredited through ACPE and BPS, can be purchased for an annual fee of $195 for pharmacists.
