Endometriosis & Autoimmune Diseases and the Role of Acupuncture for Treatment

Course overview

This online lecture is for the Integrative Fertility Symposium (IFS) 2021, and brings together recent research information regarding the common genetic link between endometriosis, depression and gut issues. This lecture will provide the basis for the link between these conditions and an explanatory model of systemic inflammation. This will link to autoimmune conditions and inflammation generally as seen through a TCM lens, and the research evidence for acupuncture in the treatment of these conditions. Kate will describe case studies and common clinical findings that support the research literature linking these conditions.
