Journeying to New Heights in Therapeutic Touch Certificate Mentorship

Course overview

Journeying to New Heights in Therapeutic Touch is the Therapeutic Touch (TT) Certificate Mentorship program in preparation for the International Credential in TT. Extensive research validating TT's effectiveness has grown out of its utilization by all health care professionals. To qualify for mentoring, prerequisite includes the 16 hour Foundations of TT or Basic TT seminar. The Qualified Therapeutic Touch Practitioner (QTTP) credential is awarded by Therapeutic Touch International Associates, Inc., the official organization of Therapeutic Touch, through a mentorship with an internationally Qualified TT Teacher (QTTT). Shirley Spear Begley, QTTT, NCBTMB, RN, an experienced TT practitioner, mentor and educator of over 30 years provides education, mentoring and supervision for this course. Classes meet 4 hours monthly for minimally one year and include mentoring in: discussions of both assigned materials and out of class client sessions, clinical practice and completion of all materials for credential submission. Integration within one's clinical practice is essential to the deepened experience of this energetic healing modality. Mentoring in the phases of the practice plus guidance in maintaining and completing documentation leading toward the QTTP credential application process is provided. 48 continuing education hours are awarded at the end of the program.
