Evaluate patients for appropriate initiation of specialized nutrition support 3. Determine appropriate access for enteral nutrition administration 4. Determine appropriate access for parenteral nutrition administration 5. Estimate nutrient requirements for patients requiring specialized nutrition support 6. Evaluate important aspects of administration for specialized nutrition support 7. Establish therapeutic goals for patients requiring specialized nutrition support 8. Modify care plans to address nutrition-related complications NOTE: An annual subscription for Purdue's nutrition support pharmacy re-certification program provides access to both the continuing education component of the program and the "Professional Resources" for practitioners. Subscriptions to the continuing educational offerings, which have been accredited through ACPE and BPS, can be purchased for an annual fee of $195 for pharmacists.
