Course overview
This recorded webinar course provides OT and PT professionals with up-to-date, evidence based, and expert-developed strategies to understand and successfully manage patients who present in the rehabilitation setting with fractures, soft tissue injuries, and nerve compression conditions about the elbow. The course includes discussions, illustrations, and videos that cover applied anatomy; basic pathophysiology of elbow fractures, soft tissue disruptions, and nerve compressions; risk factors and contributing causes; demographics; and many of the more commonly occurring complications and comorbidities. It provides an in-depth discussion of each diagnosis and includes both conservative and post-surgical management/rehabilitation of each condition based on current literature findings and CHT experience treating the elbow. This course will be immediately useful in clinical practice for OTs, OTAs, PTs and PTAs, ranging from general therapists to hand therapy specialists.
