Acceptance and commitment Therapy or ACT is part of the third wave of behavioral therapies that has empirical support for a variety of different presenting problems in people of all ages. This presentation will provide an overview of the theoretical foundation of ACT, the six areas of focus, and therapeutic interventions that can be used within any therapeutic approach.
