This 2-hour credit course is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education and approved by the Florida Board of Pharmacy. Each direct-acting oral anticoagulants agent has a unique pharmacokinetic profile and approved indication, therefore, educational initiatives are essential. Clinicians need to appropriately select the correct anticoagulant and dose, identify reversible risk factors of bleeding, and formulate a management strategy for a major bleed using a new reversal agent. The goal is to provide ongoing education so that clinicians are able to confidently select the correct DOAC agent to minimize the adverse effects, while also formulating a strategy to reverse anticoagulation using a novel agent. This self-paced course is available online through any device with internet access. There are unlimited test attempts and no time limit for completion. Credits will be reported automatically to CE Broker if your license information is entered properly in your profile.
